More dinner table news: yesterday I put my old hostess skills into play and beat Jin Na and Yuka to clearing the table. They both looked around helplessly and unsure of what to do, but I just thought, screw this! I'm not going to continue to look lazy, like I don't help out!
Wednesday we had another excursion to Azay-le-Rideau and Villandry. The gardens are renown at Villandry and I was not disappointed. Unfortunately I forgot my camera (ugh!) but everyone else took lots of pictures so I'm just going to steal some of them.

I've always thought that I preferred English gardens over French gardens, but seeing the geometric methods of it all in person was really amazing. And, on top of that, I learned that there are only 10 gardeners that keep up the whole place! That's so insane.

The hedgerow mazes.

A very epic picture, if I do say so myself.

View from way up top on a hill.
After finally having a few hot days this week, it rained again today and instantly the temperature dropped to be really chilly. I think I can hear it raining outside some more.
This weekend is the most exciting, though! A little group and I are going to Paris for the weekend! We are taking the TGV (the high speed train) right after class tomorrow, and we will be there until Sunday around noon. I can't wait. We've so far planned to see the Eiffel Tower, of course, Le Musé Des Beaux Arts where all the impressionist paintings are, and Montmartre.
So, I won't be updating this until Monday night since I'm not bringing my computer with me. By the way, I'm still experiencing problems with my cellphone receiving international calls >( I think I'm going to have to now call the company itself and deal straight with them. It's really odd, only one other girl is having problems with her phone.
I hope everyone has a good weekend! À plus tard...
